Alex's PERFECT party started with a perfectly rowdy game of FREEZE TAG HOT LAVA. Katie was in charge of the game which worked out perfectly for me.
Next Jordan led Team Lego Construction. This game was perfectly quiet. Yahoo!
Next we ate a perfectly lame cake. The kids thought the cupcake cake could be 1 flower in a pot, a balloon, a guitar--no, it was a light saber. I know pretty bad, huh. The nice thing is Alex loved it.
After cake and ice cream we had presents. It was perfectly noisy.
The most perfect part of the party was when the last one left at the very minute the party was supposed to be over. It was perfectly WONDERFUL.

Your parties are always so creative! They sound like everyone has a great time!
I miss all the fun games you guys play! I am glad that Alex had such a fun party and birthday week! What a way to celebrate no school for 5 days! Whooo hooo!
love the last one going home part. i love my kids parties, but I also love when they are over.
I love your light saber cake, lol. That's awesome!
Thanks for letting us come over the other night! Your house is so nice. I was so jealous of your sky lights that over the weekend, I bust me out a few of my own. They're alright except for the snow this morning...
Also, sorry I stunk so bad at that game! Next time, let's play brainless games. For some reason, I really excel at most of those..
my kids had a perfect time too, thanks for having them.
What a fun party--and happy birthday Alex! You're so clever to have the older children in charge of the games--they sound fun and imaginative!
Are you kidding me? Alex is 6 ?!!!!!!!!! Wow time goes by quicky. I thought he was still 4! Sounds like a fun day for him and that it went fairly well. So nice to have older children to help you out.
