Wow Jamie, You talented girl. It is just beautiful! Great job. Don't you love it when you finally get to the end of a project. Even when it takes a loooooonnnngggg time, it feels so darn good. You go girl!!
You must feel so nice tucking yourself in every night now! Great accomplishment. Love the colors too! I think I have cut out in the basement for a couple "future quilts"...maybe in a few years!
Yea--you finished it!! I love the pillows too-- a lot of extra work, but it finished everything so nicely. I really like the multi-dash border around the whole thing. Very nice.
This blog is called JUNE CLEAVER only because I had intended to devote all my thoughts to home efficiency. Clearly, home efficiency is less often on the forefront of my mind than other topics. Perhaps 2009 will bring about more home efficient thoughts.
President and CFO
Carl, also known as Carlito, Carlos and Carly, is the president of Cleaver Productions. A very talented man, he spends his spare time acting as General to our cleaning troop, thinking up whopper at-home vacations and playing any game set before him with a promise to ignore everything else going on in the plant. He has skills in barbecuing and other culinary arts and has added to his impressive resume an invitation to golf with an 80-year-old professional lady golfer.
Model #1
Jordan
Model #1 is in his 12th year. This model works very efficiently and rarely makes exuses about why he can't get the job done. He does however, when questioned, often say he never heard anyone talking to him. Hmmm.
Fuel Source--lasagna, playing football, riding scooter.
Model #2
Katie
Model #2 at ten years old, is quite the creation. Her emotional database has exceeded the producers plans. We see more excitement, sadness and love from her than from all other models combined. Very friendly, she is easily able to make friends and has quickly adapted to this new culture. Another oddity of this model is the question she frequently asks, "can I go to bed now."
Fuel Source: being with at least one other person AT ALL TIMES
Model #3
Alex
Model #3 is 8 years old. His highly programmed math and reading data bases continually puzzle his producers. Besides fighting, he also enjoys riding his scooter and giggling.
Fuel Source: projects of any kind, lullabies, answering multiplication questions.
Model #4
Grant
This is by far our busiest model. As indicated in his first year of life producers thought they had programmed this model to relax, be pleasant and quietly observe life. Not so, the only thing he seems to be programmed with is GO. Though not programmed with this ability, his loving associate models have taught him the art of fighting. He seems to have exceeded their expectations.

Good thing it turned out so well after 5 years!
Wow! That looks amazing! Great job, no matter how long it took!
Way to follow through on your goal! I love the colors you chose. Oh, I posted that marathon poem on my blog...
