"TACOS INCOMING"

These cousins are among the funniest people I know. In a game of Quelf you're never sure what's going to bring on the next round of laughs. Will it be Leigh with toilet paper wrapped around her head, Casey and his George Bush style chicken talk, or Dan's rousing rendition of When Johnny Comes Marching Home followed by a 21 gun salute and, "Tacos incoming, everyone to the ground." The funniest is when everyone actually listens, flattening themselves on the ground earning one more point on the board.
You know, its moments like these when I realize a little bit more of my humor development. Casey's "Criminitly Trigger, put that peashooter down" and the breakout into "Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters. . ." made me feel downright comfortable. Who else would say that kind of stuff while playing X Bugs and Alhambra and you actually know what they're talking about--only family. I figure since we lived so close while growing up that we couldn't help but develop our senses of humor together--except the Elmer's are like 10 times more developed than our families

While we were taking pictures Dan stood up right in the middle of everything singing, "If I were a rich man" from Fiddler on the Roof and dancing. It was so funny! See how the Elmers are only just smiling--I'm sure stuff like this happens all the time

Leigh, were you singing or what in that first picture? Feel free to look through the other 68 pictures that Carl took and pick the one you like. lol

I think June's always supposed to look great on her own blog.

So I have no idea what the heck game you're talking about, lol.

May I just say that your McQueen cousins are also awesome. At least the McQueen/Kidds. I don't really ever remember any of the other McQueen cousins' names...... lol... BAD.

Ouch! Looks like you guys had fun! Maybe we will get invited to the next one. I guess family reunions every 2 years is enough anyway! HA HAHA just kidding!

Good one Brad!

Jan, so true. We love the McQueens too. I must say I laugh a lot when I'm around your family in particular. I also have fond memories of laughing a lot while playing games with Travis and all of Roebin's boys.

Yea! you're public, not I can comment as myself. I'm so bummed I wasn't there maybe trips like this will encourage Casey to strike it rich so we can all join in the fun:) He had such a great time and I'm sure we are going to end up with a Quelf game too. He LOVED it.

I think that "Tacos Incoming!" and "The Chickens are on Fire!" are my two new catchphrases. Thanks for posting the pictures and the memories. I had a great time with you guys and yes, Katie Bell is an X-bugs Diva.
